Pesach 2020

Passover 2020 This year, numerous Passover programs are available worldwide for kosher consumers. Most programs are located in resorts and include a full service of amenities. Children’s programming, dining options, private seders, carnival day, day trips and so much more. When deciding on the program one needs to consider a checklist of important and less important requirements. Here is a short list for your consideration.

  1. Is the kosher supervision under the auspices of a recognized kosher agency or is it supervised by an individual rabbi doing it for trade?
  2. Is the price advertised the actual price or are there hidden fees and extra charges for private seders and third in a room?
  3. Is the kosher Passover food catered by a kosher caterer or by the resort staff with a kosher food advisor in the kitchen?
  4. Is the Tea Room opened all day with a full array of food or is it literally a tea room with limited hours?
  5. Is the Shul a room with the resort’s lectern or is it a fully stocked shul?
  6. Are you a foodie, expecting gourmet food or will you eat whatever?
  7. Are you prepared to shlep to a resort without nonstop flights and a resort that is miles and miles away from the nearest airport ?

This year kosher for Passover resorts are actually worldwide. New York, New Jersey and Connecticut in the Northeast. California and Arizona in the western states. And in the South there are programs in Georgia and Florida. There are also Passover resorts in Italy, Greece and Spain.
